Balkan ekspres

Ljudi me često pitaju da im preporučim ne restoran, nego deo Beograda gde mogu lepo da jedu, a kad kažu deo Beograda, misle naravno na mesto gde će pored ukusne hrane uživati i u prirodi, tj. okruženju. Neko voli da sedi pored reke, neko okružen pretežno zelenilom, neko je urban tip pa voli da bude u gradskoj gužvi. Koji god da ste od ovih tipova ljudi, jedno je sigurno - ako ste zaista poznavalac beogradskih restorana, nikako niste mogli da zaobiđete Zemun. Ove nedelje odlučili smo da posetimo čuveni Balkan ekspres, izuzetno simpatičan restoran na obali Dunava, u Ulici Despota Đurđa 22. 

Restoran se sastoji od dva dela. Prvi čini jedna simpatična, po dizajnu jednostavna kuća, a drugi deo je vagon, po kom, uostalom ovaj restoran i nosi naziv. Unutrašnjost restorana, u nivou i na spratu čine drveni stolovi i klupe, kao u kupeu i, takođe, drvene stolice, a kad uđete u drugi deo restorana, tj. vagon, zaista ulazite u pravi vagon. To je veoma slatko i originalno, tako da time što ćete sedeti u tom delu, ne samo što ćete uživati u ukusnoj hrani, nego ćete se vratiti u neka stara, romantičnija vremena, kad je vožnja vozom imala poseban šmek. Restoran poseduje i terasu, kao i baštu, u kojoj, nažalost, nismo sedeli jer je padala sitna kiša, ali ručak ili večera u njoj po divnom letnjem danu uz zvuke brodova koji plove Dunavom je zaista nešto zbog čega ću vrlo uskoro morati ponovo da ih posetim.

Ovo je mesto koje je uvek puno i na koje se ljudi rado vraćaju, tako da je poželjno da rezervišete, naročito ako želite da odete na nedeljni ručak. Ovde dolaze sve generacije, što momci i devojke koji su izašli na piće, što bračni parovi sa decom, što bake i dake koji hoće da iskoriste lep dan. Gastro policija je što se toga tiče ovaj put napravila previd, pogotovo što smo ovaj put bili u proširenom sastavu. Kad smo došli, izuzetno ljubazna hostesa nam je rekla da ima samo jedan prazan sto u glavnom delu i jedan u vagonu, a da je sve ostalo ili popunjeno ili rezervisano. Smestili smo se za taj prvi ponuđen sto, u glavnom delu, međutim, posle par minuta nam je prišao konobar koji je čuo naš razgovor sa hostesom i pitao nas da li želimo da nas smesti za sto pored prozora koji je rezervisan, ali gosti dolaze tek za dva sata. Vrlo rado smo prihvaili njegovu ponudu i zaista nam je bilo drago što je osoblje tako srdačno i predusretljivo.

Kad smo se konačno smestili, pogledali smo meni. Za svakog ovde može da se nađe ponešto, jer su ovde zastupljena jela koja svako od nas voli, od pizza, pasti, obrok salata, preko rižota, supi, čorbi, jela od mesa, roštilja, itd. Vrlo brzo smo se odlučili za piletinu u corn flakes-u (pileće belo meso pohovano u corn flakes-u preliveno kikiriki puterom, začini, posluženo sa pomfritom, kupus salatom i ananasom), piletinu ''sendmen'' (punjene pileće grudi - pečenica, kačkavalj, crvena paprika, ''sendmen'' sos - neutralna pavlaka, topljeni sir, začini, posluženo sa pomfritom) i Karađorđevu šniclu. Za predjelo su nam doneli projice i domaći hleb uz sir i urnebes salatu, što nam je bila idealna zakuska pred glavno jelo. Utisci su nam zaista bili veoma prijatni, pogotovo zato što od svih poručenih jela sve to znamo i sami da spremimo, ali ovo je bilo toliko dobro spremljeno i lepo aranžirano, da sam se osećala kao da ovo jelo jedem prvi put u životu. Projice su bile lepe i sveže, kao i hleb, a piletina u corn flakes-u, koju sam jela je bila mnooogooo ukusna - meso prženo taman koliko treba, mekano, hrskavo, sa ukusom kikirikija, uz ananas je dalo jednu dozu egzotičnosti koje ovo jelo stavlja u mojih prvih 5 omiljenih. Probala sam i piletinu ''sendmen'', koja je takođe bila preukusna, tako da i da hoću da nađem zamerku, ne bih mogla. Vinska karta se pretežno sastoji od vina sa prostora bivše SFRJ, a poznato je da su to veoma dobra vina, tako da ćete naći nešto što vam odgovara, bilo da volite belo, crveno, roze ili desertno vino.

Cene su i više nego korektne, možda čak i za nijansu niže, s obzirom na popularnost restorana, tako da će vaš dolazak vredeti svaku potrošenu paru.

Ovo je restoran gde je domaćinska atmosfera i gde ćete se osetiti kao kod kuće, uvek je gužva, ali ni u jednom trenutku nećete biti zapostavljeni. Drago mi je što postoji ovakvo mesto u mom gradu, originalno, autentično, sa menijem koji vam garantuje da nećete otići odavde gladni. Zato vam ga od srca preporučujem, bilo da Dunavom šibaju vetrovi, bilo da samo želite da odmorite posle šetnje zemunskim kejom.

People often ask me to recommend them, not the restaurant, but part of Belgrade where they can eat something good, and when they say part of Belgrade, they, of course, think of a place where in addition to delicious food they can enjoy the nature, ie. environment. Someone likes to sit by the river, someone predominantly surrounded by greenery, someone is an urban type and likes to be in the city throng. Whichever you are from these types of people, one thing is certain - if you're really proficient about Belgrade restaurants you could never bypass Zemun. This week we decided to visit the famous Balkan Ekspres, very nice restaurant on the banks of the Danube, at Despota Đurđa Street no.22.

The restaurant consists of two parts. The first makes a nice, simple by design little house, and the second part is the wagon, according to which this restaurant was named. The interior of the restaurant, in the gound level and the floor is made of wooden tables and benches, as well as in the train roomette, and also wooden chairs, and when you go to another part of the restaurant, that is the wagon, you really enter into a real wagon. It's very cute and original, so by sitting in this part, not only will you enjoy the delicious food, but you'll be back to the old, more romantic time, when the train journey had a special charm. The restaurant has a terrace and garden, where, unfortunately, we did not sit because the falling drizzle, but lunch or dinner in it, on a beautiful summer day, with the sounds of ships that sail the Danube, is indeed something that I will come back for very soon.

This is a place that is always full and that people keep coming back to, so it is advisable to make a reservation, especially if you want to go to Sunday lunch. Here come all the generations, young adults who came out for a drink, couples with children, elderly people who want to take advantage of a beautiful day. Gastro police for that matter this time made an mistake, especially as this time we were in extended composition. When we arrived, very friendly hostess told us that there is only one empty table in the main part and one in the wagon, and that everything else is either filled or reserved. We settled for that first offered table in the main part, however, after a few minutes we were approached by a waiter who heard our conversation with the hostess and asked us if we want to go at the table by the window which is reserved, but the guests are coming not for another couple of hours. Gladly we accepted his offer, and we're really pleased that the staff is so friendly and accommodating.
  
When we finally settled down, we looked at the menu. Everyone can find something here, because here are represented the dishes that each of us likes, from pizza, pasta, salad, over risotto, soup, meat dishes, bbq, etc. Very quickly we decided for Chicken in corn flakes coating (chicken breast fried in corn flakes topped with peanut butter, spices, served with french fries, cabbage and pineapple salad), Chicken '' Sandman '' (stuffed chicken breasts -  smoked ham , cheese, red bell peppers, '' Sandman '' sos - cooking cream, melted cheese, spices, served with fries) and Karadjordje’s steak. For starters they brought us corn bread muffins and homemade bread with cheese and Urnebes salad (mixed fatty, hard cheese, clotted cream, garlic and hot crushed seasoning pepper) , which was our perfect appetizer before the main course. Our impressions really were very pleasant, especially because all of the ordered dishes we know to prepare ourselves, but this was so well prepared and nicely arranged, that I felt as if I eat this dish for the first time in my life. Corn bread muffins were nice and fresh, and the bread also, a chicken in corn flakes coating  which I ate was really delicious - meat grilled just as long as it should be, soft, crunchy, peanut-flavored, with pineapple gave a single dose of exoticism and for that this dish is placed in my top 5 favorite dishes. I tried the chicken '' Sandman ', which was also tasty, so even if I wanted to find something faulty, I couldn’t have. The wine list consists mainly of wine from all over the former Yugoslavia, and it is known that those are very good wines, so you will find something that suits you, whether you like white, red, rose or dessert wine.

Prices are more than fair, perhaps even slightly lower, due to the popularity of the restaurant, so your coming will be worth of each cent spent.


This is a restaurant with home-like atmosphere, where you will feel like at home, it's always crowded, but at no time you will be neglected. I'm glad there's this place in my town, original, authentic, with a menu that guarantees you that you will not leave this place hungry. Therefore, I heartly recommend it, whether the winds on Danube are whipping as popular Serbian song says, whether you just want to relax after a walk down the Zemun quay.

Druga priča

Ljubičasto! To je prva stvar na koju pomislim kada se pomene restoran "Druga priča". Drugarica koja je pravi zaljubljenik u dezertna vina mi je toliko pričala u poslednje dve nedelje kako je tamo pila najlepše vino da sam jednostavno morala da odem da vidim kako to mesto izgleda. I da naravno sve podelim sa vama.

Restoran, tj. splav nalazi se na Ušću, blizu hotela Jugoslavija, tako da taxijem možete brzo da stignete (osim ako nemate drugaricu kao ja koja sve mora da zakomplikuje, pa vas po njenim objašnjenjima taxista ostavi 2km udaljeno od ciljne tačke, ali bar je bio lep dan pa smo prošetale).

I eto nas. Najzad! Ulazimo na splav, gde vas odmah na vratima dočekuje prijatan konobar, možda čak i previše prijatan. Šta ću jednostavno nisam navikla da je neko toliko fin.. Pošto nije bila tolika gužva, imale smo taj luksuz da same odaberemo sto. Naravno biram sto pored prozora, da uživam u pogledu na reku. Stolice ljubičaste (malo neudobne), sa roze cvećem u vazici i ofarbanim jajima na stolu je pun pogodak! Bila sam očarana tim stolom. Sve je tako romantično i sa stilom. Enterijer ovog splava je pravi ženski, ko da je samo za dame dizajniran (što i nije tako loše). Mada bilo je i muškaraca i žena, tako da ljubičasta boja ne predstavlja branu u tom smislu.

Elem, da pređemo na meni. Ok je, mada iskreno može to mnogo bolje.. Što bi moja drugarica rekla, na meniju su sva jela koja možeš i kod kuće da spremiš.. Ništa egzotično.. Ne znam ni kako bih okarakterisala meni.. Neka mini varijanta internacionalne kuhinje.. Posle dužeg razmišljanja šta naručiti odlučujemo se za "Brus Li" piletinu i Teleće skalopine sa pršutom i kačkavaljem. To je po nama delovalo najegzotičnije. I naravno uz ručak nam je bilo potrebno to dezertno vino o kojem mi je drugarica pričala. Kada smo pitale za dezertno vino, konobari (da, njih trojica su se okupila) su bili zbunjeni, kao da nikada nisu ni imali dezertna vina. Posle malo razmišljanja, jedan od njih trojice se "setio" vina, i doneo nam flašu. To vino je doneseno sa komšijskog splava, čuvenog restorana "Žabar". Kakav je to restoran koji zaboga nema svoja vina, nego po potrebi donosi sa susednih splavova? Svašta.. koji propust. Ok, donesite vi vino od koga želite, ali to se ne govori pred gostima.. Ali dobro, Bože moj, vremenom se sve nauči.. I dobro, dobismo na kraju to vino, koje je konobar stavio na sto do nas (iako je na našem stolu bilo dovoljno mesto).. po kom principu ja sad moram stalno da dozivam konobara svakih pet minuta da mi dosipa vino.. mogu sama, i želim sama.. došla sam sa drugaricom na ručak da se ispričam a ne da svakih pet minuta dozivam konobara. Nakon što sam mu rekla da stavi vino na moj sto, rekao je kako njemu to nije teško.. Ok, nije ti teško, ali ako sam već rekla da se vino prenese, ne znam čemu dalje polemisanje.. Još jedan minus.. To su vam oni isuviše ljubazni konobari od kojih nemate nikakvu privatnost.. I najzad dobismo ručak.. Ništa spektakularno, testenina nedovoljno skuvana, skalopine isuviše tvrde, piletina takođe nije ostavila bez daha.. Uz ručak smo dobile hleb koji niko nije tražio i koji je bio bajat, tako da sam i htela da ga jedem, vratila bih ga.. Zlatno je pravilo da po kuveru (koji ovde ne postoji) ili po hlebu odmah i uvek možete da procenite celo stanje u restoranu.

Cene kao cene se ne razlikuju nešto od ostalih restorana, ali iskreno trebalo bi da budu mnooogo niže.. jer ono što pružaju nije ni prineti drugim mestima sa takvim cenama. Za kraj konobar (da, ponovo konobar) nam je doneo po dve lizalice uz reči - zato što smo bile dobre. Malo degutantno dvema doktorkama od po trideset godina to reći, ali dobro. Duhovitost takođe ispod nivoa..

Da nije bilo tog cveća, i te ljubičaste boje, posle natezanja oko vina bih odmah otišla na drugo mesto, ali da ne ispadne da sam neka duribaba. Ovaj restoran još dosta treba da poradi na svim tačkama ako želi da uspe u moru beogradskih restorana. Kao ocenu na celokupan doživljaj - dajem im slabu trojku, i to zbog konobara koji se stvarno trudio oko nas (iako naglašavam ne volim baš toliku ljubaznost). Ovaj splav bih preporučula za neku jutarnju kaficu, jer je enterijer zaista lep i domaćinski.. A za nešto više ipak preporučujem neko drugo mesto..

Purple! This is the first thing you think of when someone mentions a restaurant "Druga priča". In the last two weeks, a friend who is a real fan of dessert wine repedetly told me that in this restaurant she drank the most beautiful wine, so I just had to go and see how the place looks. And of course to share it all with you.

Restaurant, ie. Floating raft is located at the river mouth, close to the hotel Yugoslavia, so you can quickly take a taxi to get there (unless you have a friend like me that must everything  complicate, giving bad route explanations to the taxi driver who eventually leaves you 2km from the target point, but at least it was a nice day so we walked).

And here we are. Finally! We're entering the the floating raft, where you are immediately greeted at the door by a pleasant waiter, maybe even too friendly. What can I do, I'm just not used to someone being so nice .. Since it was not so crowded, we had the luxury to choose our own table. Of course I choose a table by the window to enjoy the view of the river. Purple chairs (slightly uncomfortable), with pink flowers in little vases and decorated easter eggs on the table were a big hit! I was fascinated by that table. Everything is so romantic and classy. The interior of this restaurant is a girly, like it was made only for ladies (which is not so bad). Although there were men and women, so that purple color does not represent a barrier in this regard.

Anyway, let's get to the menu. The menu is fine but honestly it can be much better .. What my friend likes to say, the menu includes all the dishes that you can prepare at home.. Nothing exotic .. I do not know how I would describe it.. Like the variant of international cuisine. . After much thought we decide to order "Bruce Lee" chicken and Veal scaloppine with prosciutto and cheese. It sounded the most exotic. And of course with lunch we needed that dessert wine of which my friend was talking about. When we asked for the dessert wine, waiters (yes, three of them were together) were confused, as if they never had a dessert wine. After a bit of thinking, one of the three has "remembered" the wine, and brought us a bottle. This wine they found at the next floating raft, the famous restaurant "Zabar". What kind of restaurant does not have its own wines, but, when necessary, they bring it from neighboring rafts? Whatever .. what a failure. Okay, bring a wine from whom you want, but you do not say in front of the guests .. But well, you learn all the time .. Ok, at the end we got that wine, which the waiter put on the table next to us (although there was enough room on our table) .. And now I have to constantly call a waiter, like every five minutes to pour me some wine .. I can do it by myself, I want to do it by myself .. I came with a friend for lunch to talk and catch up, not to call the waiter every five minutes. After I told him to put the wine on my table, he said that it's not difficult to him to come every time we call him and serve the wine .. Ok, it’s not difficult to you, but if I said that you transfer the wine, I do not know why further polemic discussion is needed .. Another minus .. These are those types of waiters, too kind but giving you no privacy .. and finally the food is here .. Nothing spectacular, insufficiently cooked pasta, scaloppini too hard, the chicken was also regular .. During lunch we got bread that nobody asked for, and it was stale, so if I wanted to eat it, I would have returned it .. It is a golden rule that after looking at what cover charge (which does not exist in this restaurant) or the bread look like , you can immediately assess the whole situation in a restaurant.

Prices alone do not differ from the other restaurants, but frankly they should be a lot lower .. because their offers are not even close to the other places with such prices. In the end the waiter (yes, again the waiter) brought us two lollipops and said that for being good we deserved a lollipop. Not a nice thing to say to two thirty years old doctors, but ok. Wittiness also below average..

If not for beautiful flowers, and this purple color, after wrangling over the wine I would immediately go to a different place, but not to be a grumpy old lady , this restaurant still has to work a lot on all counts if they want to succeed in a sea of restaurants in Belgrade. As the assessment of the overall experience – I give them a low C, due to the waiter who really gave a hard effort (although I do not like so much kindness). This restaurant I would recommend for a morning coffee, because the interior is really nice and homey .. And for something more I recommend that you go somewhere else ..

Tribeca

Šetamo gradom, u nedoumici gde sesti na večeru, s obzirom da nije ostalo mnogo restorana koje nismo posetile. Odlučujemo se da probamo negde gde bi po default-u hrana morala da valja, budući na lokaciju mesta. Da, izbor je pao na restoran "Tribeca", na uglu Knez Mihailove i Kralja Petra.

Dočekao nas je izuzetno ljubazan konobar koji definitivno zaslužuje čistu peticu za trud oko toga da se gost oseća što prijatnije, ali sa enterijerom restorana je sasvim druga priča. Deluje pomalo oronulo i zapušteno.. Pravo da vam kažem nisam ni zapamtila šta dominira od boja, pošto je sve nekako neautentično i smrknuto..

Tribeca

Sele smo u baštu gde je atmosfera  i više nego živa (za razliku od unutrašnjeg dela restorana koji je isto bio pun) jer je restoran u sred gradske vreve. Ekipa se može okarakterisati kao od 7 do 107, što bi, logično bi bilo, trebalo da ukazuje na dobar glas i raznovrsnost ukusa. Ali, avaj, ne lezi vraže, već posle par min je nešto ukazalo na to da čuvena "Tribeca" ima dosta nedostataka. Kako u karti pića nismo videle ponudu vina, tražile smo konobaru da nam donese vinsku kartu, na šta je on rekao da je nemaju, jer mnogih vina nema koja su se nalazila na spisku, nego da će nam on iz glave reći šta sve imaju. Restoran u sred gradske vreve, bez karte vina, hmmm... To baš ne ide u prilog njihovom ugledu, složićete se... No, ko radi, taj i greši, tako da bi to moglo i da im se oprosti, tj. progleda kroz prste, dok ne naprave novu, ažuriranu vinsku kartu. Naručivši bermet i uživajući u njegovom slatkastom ukusu, posle malo dužeg razmišljanja, ovog puta nam je, što se tiče klope, izbor pao na portugalski rižoto sa lignjama i crvenim pasuljem i njoke sa biftekom, sušenim paradajzom i vrganjima. Što se tiče mog jela, prvi utisak je bio da sam prilično zadovoljna i mogu reći da sam baš uživala u ukusu izabrane hrane, ali, kad sam malo razmislila i udubila se u analizu svog obroka došla sam do prilično neočekivanog zaključka. Svi sastojci moje hrane su izgleda kupljeni u Maxi-ju, ili nekom drugom supermarketu, a pogotovo slatko-ljuti sos, koji i sama imam kod kuće i veoma često ga stavljam u svoja omiljena jela. Hrana jeste bila ukusna, ali kao da sam je ja spremala kod kuće, a kad dođem u restoran ipak očekujem da pojedem nešto što ne mogu sama da spremim. Moje jelo ajde, još je nekako i prošlo, opet naglašavam, ukusno, ali sa sastojcima koje ima svaka kuća. Što se tiče jela moje drugarice, to je bio pravi fijasko. Njoke iz Maxi-ja, kakve, opet naglašavam i sama spremam kod kuće. Ali ono što je ipak dovelo do toga da više nikad ne poželim da se vratim ovde je to što mi je drugarica rekla da joj je čudan taj biftek sa njokama i dala mi je da ga probam. Kad sam probala, bila sam u šoku - ono uopšte nije bio biftek, nego tipična krmenadla ili vrat, što bi objasnilo ne tako veliku cenu tih njoka. Plus je u pasti umesto sušenog paradajza bio običan sveži čeri paradajz. Totalna katastrofa i sramota! I nismo samo nas dve bile nezadovoljne, za stolom do našeg gosti su vratili jelo (pošto očigledno nešto nije bilo u redu, nismo baš mogle da prisluškujemo, složićemo se da je nepristojno), pa im se konobar izvinjavao i doneo im drugo. Da smo i mi bile pametne trebalo je da vratimo ovu pastu, ali ajde sad..

Što se tiče higijene, toalet je zanimljivog dizajna i izizetno čist, tako da na to nemam primedbe.

Suma sumarum - za centar grada je ovo i više nego neprofesionalno i odavno bi propali sa se ne nalaze na toj lokaciji. Da li je do kuvara, ili do nečeg drugog, ne znam, ali mnoge stvari ovde ne valjaju i pod hitno bi morale da se promene, a dok se to ne desi, ja im neću biti gost ponovo.

We are taking a walk, uncertain where to sit down and have dinner , given that there is not a lot of restaurants that we haven’t visited . We decided to try somewhere where the food would have to be good by default, because of the location. Yes, the choice was the restaurant " Tribeca " , at the corner of Knez Mihailova and Kralja Petra Street .

We were greeted by very friendly waiter who definitely deserves an A for effort that the guests feel more comfortable , but the interior of the restaurant is an entirely different story . It looks a bit dilapidated and neglected .. To be honest I did not even remember what color dominates, since everything is somehow inauthentic and grimly ..

Tribeca

We sat in the garden where the atmosphere is more than rousing (as opposed to the inner part of the restaurant, which was also full) because the restaurant is in the middle of the city throng. The guests can be described as 7 to 107, which should, logically, indicate a good reputation and diversity of taste. But, alas, after a few minutes something pointed out that the famous "Tribeca" has a lot of shortcomings. As in the drinks list we didn’t see a selection of wine, we asked the waiter to bring us the wine list, to which he said that they do not have one, since they don’t have many wines that were on the list, then he listed which ones they had in that moment. The restaurant in the middle of the city throng, no wine list, hmmm ... That's not in favor of their reputation, you have to agree ... But who works makes mistakes so it can be forgiven, until they make a new, updated wine list. After ordering Bermet wine and enjoying its sweetness, after thinking a bit longer this time, for our meal, we chose  Portuguese risotto with squid and red beans and Gnocchi with steak, dried tomatoes and penny bun mushrooms. As for my meal, the first impression was that I am quite happy and I can say that I really enjoyed the taste of food selected, but when thought about it and immersed in an analysis of my meal, I came to a rather unexpected conclusion. All the ingredients seem to be purchased in a local grocery shop, particularly a sweet-hot sauce, which I also have at home and very often I put it in my favorite dishes. The food was delicious, but it's like I made it at home, and when I go to a restaurant I expect to eat something that I can’t prepare by myself. My meal somehow passed the test, but to stress it  again, it was tasty, but with ingredients that each house has. As for the dish of my friend, it was a fiasco. Frozen gnocchi from supermarket, which I have at home. But what led to never wanting to come back here is when my friend said that the steak tastes weird , she gave mea bite to try it. When I tried it, I was in shock - it was not a steak , it was a typical pork chop, neck meat, which would explain the not-so-high price of these gnocchi. Plus in the pasta, instead of dried tomatoes was a simple fresh cherry tomato. Total disaster and disgrace! And not just the two of us were dissatisfied, at the next table guests have returned their food (because obviously something was wrong, we were not able to hear why, it's rude to eavesdrop, after all), but their waiter apologized and brought them a new one. If we were smart we should have returned it, but nevermind ..

As for hygiene, the toilet is of an interesting design and really clean, so I have no objections to it.
All in all - this is more than unprofessional and if not for their downtown location ,they would have been closed a long time ago . Is it because of the chef or something else, I do not know, but many things are wrong here and should urgently be changed, but until that happens, I'm not going to be a guest again.

New Marinero

Ove nedelje smo šetale po Zemunu. Pregršt restorana, svaki vas mami, nudi ponude, te dnevne, te jutarnje, da se čoveku zavrti u glavi.. Milion bašta, splavova, restorana, ali bašta New Marinera se defnitivno izdvojila od ostalih.

Na samom početku ulazite u jedno veliko dvorište, puno zelenila, sa predivnim drvenim stolicama i barom. U jednom uglu dvorišta stoji jedna prelepa drvena kočija sa cvećem, dok je u drugom veliko sidro.. Vidi se da se prostor uređivao sa dosta emocija.. Jednostavno je sve na svom mestu. Ali to nije sve. Ovo je samo uvod.. Kada prođete dvorište (u kojem takođe imate baštenski meni i možete da pojedete pastu) ulazite na splav. Ceo enterijer splava je u mornarskom fazonu. Drvene stolice, plavo bele boje koje dominiraju ostavljaju na vas utisak spokoja. Detalji kao što su brodići, sidra, kockasti stolnjaci, samo su kap u moru. Imate utisak kao da ste se teleportovali na morsku obalu. Naravno pošto je vreme predivno, rešile smo da sednemo na terasu splava koja ni po čemu ne zaostaje od unutrašnjosti splava.

Nakon što smo se smestile za sto, konobar nam donosi veliku bocu u kojoj su meniji urolani. Jednom rečju - upravo ste dobili poruku u boci. Restoran je internacionalnog karaktera, te ima veliki izbor pasti, morskih specijaliteta, ćuretine, bifteka.. Doneta je odluka posle malo dvoumljenja, pošto vas sve mami da probate! Naručile smo "Al salmone" salatu i Ćureća prsa u sosu od mandarine "Palermo". Pre naručenog jela uživale smo u kuveru koji se sastoji od belog i crnog peciva i preeeukusnog belog krema sa belim lukom i susamom. Hrana je bila odlična, u kombinaciji sa crnim vinom i talasima koji ljuljuškaju - osećaj je fantastičan!!

Cene su sasvim korektne. Za ovakav užitak je vredelo svakog potrošenog dinara. I da sam želela da se požalim na nešto nisam imala. Tako da u ovom slučaju savršenstvo itekako postoji.

U ovom restoranu čak su i u toaletu mislili na svaku sitnicu. Tako da ni za njega nemam zamerki iako sam tu izuzetno sitničava. Sve je bilo na svom mestu, sa higijenom na nivou.

Zaključak - Ovo je definitivno restoran koji ću sa zadovoljstvom da preporučim svim svojim prijateljima!!

This week we went for a walk in Zemun. A handful of restaurants, each one lures you, daily offers, morning offers, it makes me dizzy… Like a million of gardens, floating rafts, restaurants, but a garden of New Marinero definitely stood out from the rest.

First, you enter into a big yard, lots of greenery, with beautiful wooden chairs and a bar. In one corner of the yard stands a beautiful wooden carriage with flowers, while in the other corner there is an anchor... You can see that the space was arranged with lots of emotion... Everything is just in its own place. But that's not all. This is just a beginning... When you pass the yard (which also has a garden menu and you can eat pasta there) you enter the floating raft. The entire interior is in navy design. Wooden chairs, blue and white colors that dominate leave you with a feeling of calmness. Details such as boats, anchors, checkered tablecloths are just a drop in the ocean. You feel like you've been teleported to the seashore. Of course, since the weather was beautiful, we decided to sit on the terrace, which in no way falls short of the interior design.

New Marinero

After we settled, the waiter brought us a big bottle in which the menu was folded. In a word - you just got a message in a bottle. The restaurant has an international cuisine, therefore it has a great variety of pasta, seafood, turkey, steak... The decision was made after some thinking, since everything is just enticing you to try! We ordered „Al Salmone“ salad and „Palermo” turkey fillet in a mandarine sauce. Before the ordered dish came, we enjoyed in their cover charge consisting of light and dark rye pastry and delicious white cream with garlic and sesame. The food was excellent, combined with red wine and the swaying of the waves- the feeling was fantastic!!

Prices are moderate. For this pleasure is worth every spent cent. Even if I wanted to complain about something, there is nothing to complain about. So in this case perfection indeed exists.

In this restaurant, even in the toilet, they thought about every little thing. So even though I am extremely petty about that, there is nothing bad to say about it. Everything was in its place, the level of hygiene is high.

Bottom line - this is definitely a restaurant that I will gladly recommend to all of my friends!!

Pizza bar

Novi Beograd - široki bulevari, kao stvoren za šetnju i uživanje u toplom, prolećnom danu. Možete da ga volite ili ne volite, ali sa jednim morate da se složite - NBG definitivno jeste novi, moderni centar Beograda. U skladu sa tim, ovde se stalno pojavljuju novi, vrhunski restorani. Jedan od njih je upravo Pizza bar.

Pizza bar - enterijer

Čim sam kročila u restoran osvojio me je svojim enterijerom koji je moderan, sa izuzetno originalnim, autentičnim komadima nameštaja. Ljubazno osoblje nas je smestilo u nepušački deo, jer je tamo jedino bilo mesta, što je ok, jer svakako ne konzumiramo cigarete, tako da nam je svejedno. Ekipa je i više nego raznolika - ima i mladih i starih, i roditelja sa decom i parova, ali sve se to uklapa u ambijent, tako da se nijednog trenutka nećete osetiti kao da niste među "svojima". Naručivši dva erdingera, bacile smo pogled na meni, u kom dominira italijanska kuhinja (pizze i paste), ali i veliki izbor jela od mesa i salata, koji je pre internacionalnog karaktera. Nije nam dugo trebalo da se odlučimo. Drugarica je naručila pizzu Inverno (sir, šunka, pepperoni, bbq sos, paprika, masline, šampinjoni, luk, čedar sir), a ja pizzu Carbonara, jer pošto mi je omiljena pasta upravo carbonara, bio je red da probam i pizzu. Posle malo razmišljanja, odlučila sam da, kao drugarica, uzmem deblje testo. Lično više volim tanko testo i moram priznati da sam bila skeptična što sam naručila deblje, ali želela sam da vidim kako će ga spremiti i da li opravdavaju ugled jedne od najboljih picerija u gradu. I nisam se pokajala. Kad su došle pizze, koje su vrhunski izgledale, ukus je bio u potpunosti u skladu sa izgledom. Testo toplo i mekano, kao pena, prosto se topi u ustima, a ono što je preko njega je zaista učinilo da se nađem u gastronomskom raju. Pasta carbonara, samo u obliku pizze, eksplozija i fantazija ukusa. Od tog dana više ne znam da li mi je draža pizza ili pasta carbonara. Drugaricina pizza je takođe bila fenomenalna, ljutkasta, preukusna, ma savršenstvo bez mane. Malo je reći da smo uživale.

Cene su normalne, solidne, na nekom drugom mestu bih za iste pare dobila sasvim običnu, prosečnu pizzu, tako da je ovo i više nego opravdan odnos cena/kvalitet, da ne žalite ni dinara. Isto važi i za piće, skroz pristupačne cene.

Toalet je takođe na zavidnom nivou, čisto, redovno se održava, tako da ni tu nemam šta da zamerim.

Kada bih nastavila da ih hvalim, mogla bih da napišem još bezbroj redova, reći ću samo još to da, da sam osuđenik na smrt i da imam pravo na poslednji obrok, bez razmišljanja bih se odlučila za pizzu iz Pizza bara, jer bih pre pakla želela da osetim raj. Srećom, nije takva situacija, tako da ću još mnogo, mnogo puta biti u raju, kad budem jela ovde.

Ako zahtevate besprekorno, zahtevajte ne ariel, nego Pizza bar. Znam da ja definitivno hoću.

New Belgrade - wide boulevards , perfect for long walks and enjoying the warm spring day. You can like it or not, but with one thing you have to agree - NBG definitely is the new, modern center/downtown of Belgrade. Accordingly, excellent new restaurants constantly appear in this part of the city . One of them is Pizza bar . 

Pizza bar - interior

As soon as I stepped into the restaurant, it’s interior captivated me, it is stylish, with very original, authentic pieces of furniture. The friendly staff accommodated us in a non-smoking area, because only there was a free seating left, which is ok, because we do not smoke cigarettes, so we did not mind. The customers are more than diverse - there are young and old, parents with children and couples, but all that fits into the atmosphere, so at every moment you feel as welcome as if you are among your friends. Ordering two Erdinger beers, we took a look at the menu, in which Italian cuisine (pizzas and pastas) dominates, there is as well a large selection of meat dishes and salads of the international type. It didn’t take us long to decide. My friend had ordered a pizza Inverno (cheese, ham, pepperoni, BBQ sauce, bell peppers, olives, mushrooms, onions, cheddar cheese) and I ordered pizza Carbonara, my favorite pasta is pasta carbonara so it was expected of me to try the pizza version. After some thinking, I decided to get a thick crust version, my friend as well. I prefer a thin crust pizza and I must admit that I was skeptical as I ordered a thick one, but I wanted to see how they will make it and whether they justify the reputation of being one of the best pizzerias in the city. I never regretted. When they brought the pizzas, which looked superb, the taste was fully in line with the outlook. The dough warm and soft, like foam, simply melting in your mouth, but the topping really send me directly to gastronomic heaven. Pasta carbonara, only in the form of pizza, explosion of taste. Since that day I do not know whether I prefer pizza or pasta carbonara. My friend’s pizza was also phenomenal, spicy, delicious, pure  perfection without flaws. To say that we enjoyed is an understatement.

Prices are normal, average, elsewhere for the same money I'd get quite ordinary, average pizza, so this is a more than reasonable price / quality ratio, not to regret any cent . The same goes for drinks, totally affordable prices.
The toilet is also at a high level, clean, regularly maintained, I have nothing to criticize.

If I continued to praise them , I could write countless lines , I'll just say that if I was a prisoner  sentenced to death , for my last meal, without thinking, I'd order a pizza from Pizza bar, because I would like to taste a little bit of Heaven before my way to Hell. Fortunately for me, that is not the case, so I’ll visit this heavenly place many, many times more.

My thought, inspired by the funny Ariel detergent commercial would be: If you require flawless, do not ask for Ariel, but for Pizza bar. I know I definitely will.
